Are you in a relationship where you feel powerless or that your needs aren't being met? Do you not feel heard in your current relationship, and bottle up your anger over time, only to either explode in anger or get depressed or anxious about it? Does the thought of a really sound and communicative relationship seem like a great thing to you, but just out of your reach?
Here's a group that can help. I wanted professional men to be able to come together and to learn how to stop doing what they are doing that creates less-than-satisfactory relationships for them and their wives or girlfriends. Our group will focus on how to keep the "nice" in "nice guy", and be assertive, too.
I am a recovering "nice guy" and current Phoenix-based counselor for men. The idea of starting a group for nice guys just recently occurred to me. Why not? It's about time! So, this group's goals are to connect with other young (20's-40's), professional nice guys, learn about ways to empower ourselves and learn about the most effective ways to be true to ourselves and get what we want and need in our relationships and in our lives from the people that matter most to us, and from perfect strangers.
You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
